Myfundus in brief
The facts we are asked for most often.
- Myfundus is a marketplace where private individuals and businesses let out and sell things they do not need all the time — tools, garden equipment, trailers, camera gear.
- Private and business are two equal paths, from opening an account to payout. The business path is not a special case of the private one.
- We broker and handle: payment runs through the platform, and we hold the money until the booking is complete. The contract is between the two parties — we are not a party to it.
- We retain 20 % of the rental price; 80 % goes to the provider. The renter pays the amount shown in the listing.
- Data is stored in the European Union. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising services anywhere on the platform.
- Myfundus is operated by Myfundus UG (haftungsbeschränkt), based in Düsseldorf. Company details, representation and register entry are set out in full in the legal notice.
Brand and logo
The logo may be used light or dark. We ask for three things:
- Leave enough clear space around it.
- Do not alter colours, proportions or the wordmark. The brand colour is #FF3D00.
- The orange circle with the face keeps its colour on light and dark backgrounds alike; only the wordmark changes.
Files
The two logo versions show the same artwork and differ only in the colour of the wordmark. There is just one version of the symbol — it is the same on any background.
Founder

Roghmal Alami's path as a serial entrepreneur is deeply rooted in his own history. He was born on 1 September 1987 in Kunar, Afghanistan, during the Soviet-Afghan War (1979–1989), and faced adversity from the outset. His father lost his life in the conflict, which led his mother to seek refuge in Germany, where Roghmal Alami grew up.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to make a difference, he pursued his education with perseverance. After finishing school he enrolled in computer science at Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf. Before long, however, his entrepreneurial drive took precedence over his studies.
In 2010, while still a student, he founded his first company and laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial career. Inspired by innovation and business building, he made the bold decision to leave university and dedicate himself fully to building companies of his own.
Today, Roghmal Alami remains a driving force in the startup scene, encouraging others with his resilience, his vision and his commitment to change that makes a difference. His story shows the power that lies in entrepreneurship — and how much becomes possible when passion meets a purpose one recognises as one's own.
