Why buy a power drill when all you need is a hole in your wall? That question is where Myfundus started.
What we do
Myfundus is a marketplace where people and businesses let out things they do not need all the time — tools, garden equipment, trailers, camera gear. Whoever needs them finds them nearby and returns them afterwards.
We broker and handle: we provide the platform, run the payment and hold the money until the booking is complete. The contract itself is between the two parties — we are not a party to it, and our terms say so.
How a hole became a company
It began with a simple observation: the average power drill gets bought, used a few times and spends the rest of its life in the basement. The same goes for the scarifier, the party tent and the tow bar.
What was missing was not the willingness to share, but a way that protects both sides: reliable payment, a record of the condition, and a procedure for when something goes wrong. That is what we build.
What we hold ourselves to
Four things that are not statements of intent but built into the system.
- The renter pays exactly the amount shown. Nothing is added at checkout.
- We use no analytics, tracking or advertising services — nowhere on the platform.
- Your data is stored in the European Union. The region was fixed when we set up and is not changed.
- For insulting, discriminatory or unlawful content we apply a zero-tolerance rule, with reporting and blocking.
